Doesn't really lag at all, just its hard to see where a bullet is or isn't. :P
Thanks for playing guys!
@Waldo, you're one of only 2 people I've fouind who it runs slowly for. I assure you it's much more exciting at 60 fps, however I cannot optimize it any further, so I'm sorry. As for unintuitve controls, I think up to jump and left/right to move is pretty standard in platformers :P
@Sabre the "one screen game" aspect was pretty much the whole point, you could always see the end but it was always a bit out of reach. It's always going to be easy if you play it when it's lagging on your setup :P
I also think that it needed to have a more zoomed-in view..
Well, it's functional, the level design is solid, and the music could be worse. However, the controls are unintuitive, the gameplay is unexciting, it runs slowly (obviously due to the enormous levels- by the way, gameplay like this should be condensed more, it should be more of a simple, 'pick-up-and-play' kind of deal), and it has, once again, the one of the most generic styles possible in the Game Maker world. The whole concept is cool, but it would be more fun if there was tad more depth to it, the levels came in smaller chunks, and the controls were more fluid.
