Innoquous 2, the sequel to the game of the same name minus the "2", is an 18-level platformer using the gimmick of gravity switching. Arrows will flip your gravity one of four ways, tilting the room with it. I've made the sequel because Innoquous was a rush-release yet managed to get over 6000 collective plays, an achievement I don't believe it deserved. This sequel hopefully puts the original's mistakes right.

For those that know the original, these are the improvements in 2.

  • 18 new levels, none of which are mostly "watch ball keep flipping". All require some element of gameplay
  • Blocks are now black filled - this allows conceptual levels (like one which is shaped like a man).
  • Glitch from I1 fixed where you could get stuck to walls
  • Extra obstacles in levels - static (hurts you) and razors (kill you)
  • Improved HUD. Instead of just text, it's now a box which incorporates level name/number, health bar and compass
  • Sound effects now included - jumping, winning, dying and gravity flipping
  • Three songs, none of which are latino like I1's single song
  • Editable can be won by finding a hidden rabbit. If you win the editable, it's a case of pushing "enter" and it downloads, as opposed to I1, which forced you to copy and type the URL
  • Editable for I2 doesn't erroneously require GMPhysics

I personally think this one is better though, though the graphics are a little too bland. The game's also too easy. But the gameplay's improved. I like it.

(Couldn't find the hidden rabbit by the way! :( )

I can't really compare this to the first because I haven't played it. It was a good game though, reminds me of a game I made.

I personally though the first one was better, in particular the ball graphics.
