Miscellaneous_Quest is a short adventure/platform game made for the Zerosoft Games Retro Competition. This is the first game I've actually finished so it's a great achievement for me. Due to the time restrictions of the competition, I had to rush, so everything may not be great. I made all the graphics and did all the coding myself.
The story in this game is pretty weak, with more time it would've been much better. Basically, your character, Zerry, sets out on a quest to stop an evil spirit from destroying the world (cliche). To do this you have a sword and you must travel over a variety of landscapes including forest, desert and a cave to track down the evil spirit and save the world.

left=left
right=right
space=attack
Really, this is quite generic, but above the quality of most generic GM games.
This game needs to be repackaged for instant play. Make sure that the game is not located inside a folder inside the ZIP.
I thought the decision to make Boss fights restartable by completion was a good choice. I really did like the game, the story kept me entertained and a great atmosphere permeated.
